The Pace provides the very best performance and technology, constructed using high density, 1000-denier, double laminated knitted drop stitch and feature a high performance, welded triple rail edge design. The Pace Flow inflates to 20 PSI, providing a stable and responsive ride that’s perfect for beginners looking to build confidence on the water.
The Pace has been designed with multi-use D-ring configuration, which allows a kayak seat attachment on the front, back, and middle of the board, as well as the option to expand the cargo area and add extra portage handles if needed.
The Pace features our patented Smart-Tec fin and finbox, making it easy for first-time paddlers to simply ‘click’ and go. As skills progress, the system also provides a wide variety of universal (US Box) fin options for added versatility and performance. The fin is also designed to allow the board to be rolled up with ease.

3 x Carry Handles

The Flow range from Shark SUP’s features double-laminated 1000 denier knitted technology (also known as fusion), delivering exceptional stiffness, durability, and performance. At the core of this technology is the 1000 denier knitted fabric, which forms the substrate. This fabric is meticulously bonded and reinforced with a thick, premium double-layer laminate. This combination of materials enables the board to withstand pressures of up to 20 PSI, ensuring outstanding rigidity and a solid, stable ride for the user.
Triple Rail Edge with Welded Rail Technology
The Shark SUP’s triple rail brings numerous design advancements. When combined with all the other Shark SUP’s Tec innovations, the paddling experience becomes incredible. The triple rail edge on Shark SUP’s is integrated with welded rail technology.
What Does This Mean?
On Shark SUP’s, the triple rail edge design (the top and bottom of the board) extends around to the side rail, almost touching. The top and bottom sheets (top and bottom of the board) are then heat-welded together with the first rail edge (no glue is used in this process). This rounded connection on the side rail significantly increases stiffness, reduces flex, and optimises rigidity. It also creates a C curve, allowing the board to sit lower in the water, enhancing its performance, which is especially noticeable in windy conditions.
To enhance the durability of the rail edge, the process is completed by using environmentally safe glue (toluene-free) to bond a 1000-denier rail edge over the welded rail.
Why Is a Rail Edge Glued Over the Welded Rail?
The welded rail creates a bond that cannot come undone through seam failure due to heat (for example, on a hot day). However, the weld only bonds the first rail edge of the board. To further protect the edge of the board, a second rail is added. To protect it to an even higher level, the rail is made from 1000 denier substrate. By using this high-quality substrate, the rail edge and board gains additional stiffness and reduced flex.
20 PSI Construction
Shark SUP’s boards are designed to inflate to 20 PSI, ensuring premium performance and stability with minimal flex. This technology is particularly important for riders, especially when using longer boards with a 5” thickness, as it offers enhanced stability. Additionally, the 20 PSI construction serves as a clear quality indicator for consumers, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to high standards.
