The Outdoor Master Xlope Hawaii Grey sports sunglasses are designed for cyclists and active outdoor users who regularly move through changing light conditions.

The Xchromic photochromic lens automatically adjusts its tint according to the intensity of the light. It remains lighter in cloudy or shaded conditions and gradually darkens when exposed to stronger sunlight, providing comfortable vision without the need to change lenses or sunglasses.

The ventilated wraparound design provides a wide field of vision while helping protect the eyes from sunlight, wind, dust and small road debris.

Xchromic Photochromic Technology

The photochromic lens changes its tint according to the amount of UV light in the environment.

The lens transitions between:

• category 1 in cloudy, shaded and lower-light conditions,
• category 2 in moderate sunlight,
• category 3 in strong sunlight.

This wide adjustment range makes the sunglasses particularly suitable for routes with alternating sunny and shaded sections, such as cycling through forests, changing weather conditions and longer outdoor activities.

Clearer Vision in Changing Conditions

The photochromic lens helps maintain a comfortable level of brightness and reduces eye strain. An anti-reflective treatment minimises distracting reflections and improves visual comfort in brighter conditions.

Care Instructions

Clean the lens using a soft microfibre cloth. Rinse away larger particles with lukewarm water before gently wiping the lens.

Do not use paper towels, abrasive materials, aggressive cleaning agents, acetone or other solvents, as these may damage the photochromic, anti-reflective and water-repellent treatments.

Store the sunglasses in the supplied protective case when not in use.

Safety Information

Inspect the frame, temples, nose pad and lens before use. Do not use the sunglasses if the lens is cracked or heavily scratched or if the frame is damaged.

The sunglasses are not suitable for:

• direct observation of the sun,
• viewing a solar eclipse,
• protection against artificial UV radiation sources,
• use as industrial safety eyewear,
• driving at night.

The speed and intensity of the photochromic reaction depend on UV exposure, temperature and other environmental conditions. The lens may darken less effectively behind a vehicle windscreen because the windscreen filters part of the UV radiation.
