The Lucid PFD is a comfortable, low-profile and thoughtfully designed life jacket for recreational paddlers who want reliable flotation, freedom of movement and all-day comfort on the water. Its mesh lower-back construction fits comfortably against high-back kayak seats, making it an excellent choice for recreational kayaking, canoeing, SUP and relaxed boating.
The advanced Orbit Fit System uses multiple layers of lightweight closed-cell foam, cut to precise specifications, to create a flexible, pre-curved shape that naturally conforms to the body. This provides a secure and comfortable fit without feeling stiff or bulky. The Every Body Design™ philosophy reimagines how a PFD fits and performs, removing the need for separate men’s and women’s models.
With Graded Sizing, the Lucid PFD takes into account the appropriate amount of flotation needed for different body types, resulting in a better-fitting and more comfortable life jacket. A front YKK® zipper makes entry simple, while adjustments at the shoulders, sides and waist help secure the PFD and allow a customized fit.
The back flotation panel conforms to the paddler’s back for a flush fit, while the mesh lower back improves ventilation on warm days. Two zippered front pockets provide quick access to essentials such as keys, snacks, a whistle or other small on-water gear.
Built with sustainability in mind, the Lucid PFD combines a recycled ripstop nylon shell with a recycled nylon inner that protects PVC-free Ethafoam shims. A silicone-coated inner waistband helps keep the PFD in place while swimming. Additional features include 3M® reflective accents, shoulder strap keepers, a front lash tab for a light or strobe and an internal D-ring attachment in the user’s right pocket.
The Lucid PFD is certified in accordance with EN ISO 12402-5.
