The NRS cVest PFD is a feature-rich touring life jacket designed for paddlers who explore open water, rolling seas, lakes and longer kayak adventures. Built for safety, comfort and practical organization, it combines a secure fit with extensive storage and attachment options for essential paddling gear.

The advanced Orbit Fit System layers multiple pieces of lightweight closed-cell foam, precisely cut to create a flexible, pre-curved shape that naturally conforms to the body. This provides a comfortable, secure fit without restricting movement during long days on the water. The Every Body Design™ philosophy reimagines how a PFD fits and performs, eliminating the need for separate men’s and women’s models.

With Graded Sizing, the cVest PFD accounts for the appropriate amount of flotation required for different body types, resulting in improved comfort and fit. A front YKK® zipper makes entry simple, while shoulder, side and waist adjustments allow a secure, customized feel.

The back flotation panel conforms to the paddler’s back for a flush fit, and the mesh lower back improves ventilation on warm days while working well with high-back kayak seats. The five-pocket design includes two side-entry pockets for easy access, two expandable pockets with dual zipper entry for a GPS or VHF, and a fifth sleeve pocket for a folding knife or other small accessories.

For touring and open-water use, the cVest includes seven attachment points on the front and back for accessories, a knife, lights, a strobe or other safety equipment. Extensive 3M® reflective accents improve visibility, while shoulder strap keepers and a silicone-coated inner waistband help keep the PFD secure and comfortable.

Sustainable construction combines a recycled ripstop nylon shell with a recycled nylon inner that protects PVC-free Ethafoam shims.
