Safety Information for Ecobike Electric Bicycles

📌 Basic Product Information:
• Product type: Electric Bicycle (EPAC – Electric Pedal Assisted Cycle)
• Intended use: Recreational and urban riding in compliance with traffic regulations

⚠️ Safety Warnings

1. Carefully read the instructions before first use. Improper use may cause injury or accidents.

2. Always wear a protective cycling helmet and recommended safety gear.

3. Observe traffic regulations. The e-bike is not intended for off-road riding, downhill, or extreme sports.

4. Ensure the bicycle is always equipped with proper signaling devices (lights, reflectors, bell). Make yourself clearly visible in traffic.

5. Do not ride under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair riding ability.

6. Only one person may ride the bicycle, unless a certified child seat is installed. The total weight must not exceed the maximum load capacity – 125 kg, unless otherwise specified in the manual.

7. Do not hold on to other vehicles and always keep both hands on the handlebars while riding.

8. Be extra cautious when riding in rain or on slippery surfaces, as braking distance is longer.

9. Avoid sudden braking and do not ride on terrain beyond the bicycle’s capabilities.

10. Make sure loose clothing parts do not get caught in the chain, pedals, or wheels.

11. Before each ride, check:
    • tire pressure and condition,
    • brake and light functionality,
    • proper fastening of wheels, handlebars, and seat,
    • chain and gear condition.

12. Do not ride the bicycle with damaged components (damaged rims, loose spokes, broken chain).

13. Do not attempt to repair the electrical parts (motor, battery) yourself. Repairs must be carried out by an authorized service center only.

14. During battery charging:
    • use only the original charger,
    • charge on a dry, non-flammable surface away from flammable materials,
    • never charge with wet hands or in damp areas,
    • do not expose the battery to fire or high temperatures.

15. If the bicycle is damaged in an accident, do not use it until inspected by a service technician.

16. For long periods of non-use, charge the battery to ~80% and store at room temperature.

🛠️ Instructions for Safe Use and Storage
• The bicycle is intended for recreational use on city streets and paved paths. It is not suitable for extreme terrain or competitive sports.
• Store the bicycle and battery in a dry place where the temperature does not fall below 0 °C or exceed 40 °C.
• Do not expose the bicycle to excessive moisture, salt, corrosive substances, or aggressive cleaning agents.
• After each ride, clean the bicycle with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
• Regular servicing at an authorized service center extends the life of the bicycle and battery and ensures safety.
