The Ecobike X-City electric city bike is ideal for commuting to work or school. The 468 Wh battery is enough for up to 100km of riding between charges. Much more than we usually do with a bike like this. Universal size, low entry and with height adjustable handlebars, the bike is extremely comfortable. Strong 17" aluminium frame, 28'' wheels and 28''x2.0 city wide tyres.
The warranty is 2 years. Bike can be serviced by us or at your nearest bike shop. The manufacturer is in the EU and has all the necessary spare parts in stock at all times.
The aluminium frame is designed so that the battery is completely contained within the frame. This provides the best protection from the weather and also from possible accidents. The battery has 468Wh. Range can be over 100km, depending of course on the weight of the rider, the level of assistance and the terrain conditions. The battery has a lifetime of over 700 charging cycles. The battery has Greenway's Smart BMS technology, which ensures more power at the right moment and better control of charging and discharging. Charging time 4-8 hours.
Frame size is 17". Wheels are 28". The durable 28x 2.00 tyres are just the right amount of roughness to keep the bike silent on the asphalt, yet still ride safely on gravel roads without a problem.
The weight of the bike with battery is 25.3kg. Max load is 125kg.
Proven Bafang motor (250W, 36V) in the rear wheel has 45Nm of torque, which means you'll have no problem with any urban climb. Top speed 35km/h, but limited by law to 25km/h. Rear wheel motors are a better choice for city bikes as they don't put any strain on the rest of the bike, especially the chain.
The bike has 8 gears and 5 levels of electric assistance so you will easily find the ratio that suits you.
The X-City is equipped with a front suspension fork with 63m of travel to make it less shaky on gravel or potholes on our cycle paths and roads. It has mechanical disc brakes. It has Spanning lights front and rear which are connected to the battery.
