AMAZONAS Underquilt XXL – insulation for extra-large hammocks
Want to enjoy hammock camping even on colder nights? The AMAZONAS Underquilt XXL provides effective insulation from below and helps reduce body heat loss while sleeping in a hammock.
The extra-large version is designed for hammocks with a lying surface approximately 300–350 cm long, making it ideal for larger AMAZONAS ultra-light hammocks.
Thermal protection down to approximately –5 °C
Recommended sleeping temperature range:
≥ –5 °C / 23 °F
The hollow-fibre polyester filling creates an insulating layer beneath the hammock and helps reduce heat loss from below.
When combined with a suitable sleeping pad or additional insulation, the Underquilt XXL can also be used in colder conditions.
Actual warmth depends on factors including air temperature, wind, humidity, sleeping bag, clothing and individual sensitivity to cold.

Quick and easy setup
Simply suspend the Underquilt XXL beneath your hammock.
The included continuously adjustable suspension ropes and straps allow you to position the insulation correctly beneath the hammock.
Four T-toggles for a secure fit
Four small T-toggles are attached to the upper sides of the Underquilt, with two on each side.
They can be connected to matching loops on compatible AMAZONAS Moskito hammocks and Silk Traveller Thermo models.
This helps prevent the Underquilt from slipping during the night.

The Underquilt XXL is designed as additional thermal insulation beneath a hammock and is not a substitute for an appropriate sleeping bag or other equipment required for sleeping in cold conditions.
Inspect the fabric, seams, suspension ropes and straps before every use. Do not use the product if it is severely damaged or torn.
Make sure the Underquilt is correctly positioned and does not interfere with the load-bearing components of the hammock.
Keep away from open flames, camping stoves and other strong heat sources.
The stated ≥ –5 °C temperature range is a guideline only. Actual thermal performance depends on environmental conditions, wind, humidity, sleeping bag, additional insulation, clothing and individual sensitivity to cold.
